Schedule :

• 8 Hours shift
• Monday through Friday

Requirements for the Maintenance Technician position :

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment
• Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to; mechanical, electrical, welding, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
• Start each shift by performing a walk-through of the entire plant to check on equipment and check in with operators regarding any problems they might have
• Communicate parts inventory to manager as it is depleted
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
• Perform a variety of plumbing and carpentry functions
• Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned
• Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements at all times and notify management of violations of these policies

Experience for the Maintenance Technician position :

• Experienced and skilled at mechanical, basic electrical (low voltage to 480 VAC, single and 3 phase), welding, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, carpentry and machining of parts
• Requires a minimum of a high school diploma / GED
• Applicants should have minimum 2 years experience with welding, plumbing, basic electrical (low voltage to 480 VAC, single and 3 phase), and machine repair
• Must be detail oriented, ability to multi-task and have excellent follow-up skills
• Self-motivational personality with exceptional attendance and punctuality
• Ability to perform job duties with a sense of urgency
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times
